Why the Kannada feature films should be sold to television channels outright for one lump sum amount? Director Prem is with this question in his mind for the 100th film of hat trick hero Shivarajakumar as producer too with his actress wife Rakshita.

According to Prem the film rights sold once for all would get abundant revenue for hit films that are ten times more than earnings made by such films. A film like ‘Mr Garagasa’ has been telecast in local channel for 40 times. Each time the revenue is assured via advertisements for the channels.

Looking at the generation of huge revenue by channels from one particular film the hike for rights has been increased in a place like Mumbai cinema industry.

Director Prem is contemplating on giving rights of his ‘Jogaiah’ the multi crores film for six months only. We prepare the butter and easily the channels make ghee from it.

This is a point to be discussed seriously in the Kannada film producers sector says director Prem.
