Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed twins - a girl and a boy named Jai and Jia through surrogacy. The actress shared the happy news through her official social media handle. "Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene and I are overjoyed and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light - Gene, Preity, Jai and Gia," Preity wrote. Several celebs congratulated the couple and showered blessings for the newborns.

Preity and Gene tied the knot on February 29, 2016, in an intimate ceremony in the US. However, she keeps visiting India. Best known for her performances in films such as Dil Se, Lakshya, Salaam Namaste, Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer-Zaara and Dil Chahta Hai among many other, Preity Zinta was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit, which was released in 2018.
