Pregnant woman who registered to return India died

A pregnant woman from Kerala's Malappuram who had registered her name in the embassy to return home died in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The deceased has been Jashira, wife of Anaz of Tirurangadi in Malappuram.

The 27-year-old was rushed to the hospital after she complained uneasiness, on Wednesday, but was declared dead on reaching the hospital. She was four months pregnant and also has a 4-year-old child.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases has alarmingly increased in Kerala. On Wednesday, the total number of cases crossed 1000-mark and is at 1004. On Wednesday, 40 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the state.
