The entire nation was shocked at the state of humanity yesterday when the news became viral about a pregnant elephant losing its life due to miscreants feeding it a pineapple loaded with crackers. The fifteen year old elephant which sustained internal injuries went into the river in the Mannarkad forest area in Kerala and waited away in pain till it lost its life.

Celebrities and the public took to social media to express their outrage and the topic became trending worldwide. Our own actress Amala Paul has suggested the apt punishment for the inhumane killers.

Amala has written "Sometimes I wonder if we should really wait for karma to take action. The only deserving punishment for this evil act is to burst the same crackers in their ass. SORRY SISTER, YOU THOUGHT THEY ARE HUMANS BUT THEY ARE DEMONS."
