Since 'Mohabbatein' and 'Awara Paagal Deewana' there hasn't been much to cheer about for Preeti Jhangiani in Bollywood inspite of the image makeover that she attempted in 'Chaahat-Ek Nasha'.

But things may just about change with the release of her upcoming flick 'Chand Ke Paar Chalo' that features her in a central role alongside debutant hero Saahib. Directed by Mustafa Engineer, who earlier made his debut with 'Kuch Kaha Aapne', CKPC also stars Shakti Kapoor, Himani Shivpuri, Alok Nath and Tej Sapru.

Preeti admits that the title of the film is a bit old, but believes in the movie as it is an important film for her that has her in a "first ever author-backed role. She plays a dancer based in Nainital and the film traces her journey.
