The 48 days schedule for Murali and Sridevi (Tamil actress) starring 'Preethigaagi' a remake of Tamil film 'Kadhalakku Maryadhai' (starring Viji and Shalini - Fazil direction) went on the floors on Monday morning at Nanditeertha temple opposite Kadu Malleswara temple in Bangalore. Director Mahender has directed 'Ninagaagi' for Murali's elder brother Vijaya Raghavendra's debut film and now for Murali starring he has titled it as 'Preethigaagi'. Noted producer Ramu has taken up his second remake film in the career.

The fifteen days of shooting in Ooty begins tomorrow and then 20 days of schedule in Mysore and rest in Bangalore says producer Ramu. Jayanthi, Ramakrishna, Bhavya are also in the cast. There are eight songs in this film.S.A.Rajkumar scores the music.

After three months gap Murali is working in this film. He says the role is smooth and soft. Sridevi is excited about her second Kannada Project. She had acted in 'Kanchanaganga' Kannada film opposite Shivrajkumar.

Apparently the shades of 'Kadhalakku Maryadhai' have been copied strongly in 'Halu Sakkare' Kannada film.
