These days, pre-wedding videos are getting more creative than ever before. Call it the TikTok effect or social media-driven craze, would-be couples are getting busy wearing thinking caps and doing shoots. Sometimes, they invite ridicule. Rarest of the rare times, they might fall in trouble, as a cop in Rajasthan has.

Dhanpat, a cop from Udaipur, is in the news for a strange reason. Before his wedding, he shot a pre-wedding video with his fiance Kiran. In the video, Kiran comes riding a scooty without a helmet. Dhanpat stops her and proceeds to take action against her. This is when Kiran urges him to let her off by taking a small bribe. The cop says yes but he is unaware that Kiran just pulled off a con job on him by stealing his wallet. When Kiran comes back to return the wallet to the shocked Dhanpat, love blossoms in him.

The couple have been wedded for some days now. And, meanwhile, the video has backfired. It recently reached Dhanpat's superiors, who are angry that the cop has misused his uniform. They have sought an explanation from him. A suspension from service is in the air.
