But being a popular persona has its downside and Mahesh would have understood that very well as he made a visit to Tirupathi and Kalahasthi.

The young hero's new film Athadu is set for release next month.

Perhaps to propitiate the Gods on the eve of its release, Mahesh made a trip to these pilgrimage hot spots. Or perhaps he was making a trip as part of some other votive vow (he was recently married to Namratha).

Anyway, word quickly spread and many fans thronged the temples to catch a glimpse of their favorite hero.

It was also quickly revealed that Mahesh made a trip to Tirupathi before the release of Okkadu. The film went on to make history.

Now, prior to Athadu's release, he has again visited the temple.
