It's not for nothing it's said that Praveen Sattaru is one of the most unconventional new-age directors in Tollywood right now. 'Garuda Vega', if anything, has only proved it one more time.

He went to Dr. Rajasekhar with an NIA officer's story, believing that the yesteryear Angry Young Man needs just that special film to make a resounding comeback. At a time when the actor himself had been looking for negative and character roles, here was a director who dared to reinvent him in the image of a 'Magadu', an 'Ankusam' and an 'Agraham'.

Released on Friday, 'Garuda Vega' has opened to a rousing critical reception. From Rajamouli to other celebs, a number of Tollywoodians are now convinced that Rajasekhar is indeed back. The credit goes to Praveen for making it happen when nobody could dream of this possibility.

If the National Award that 'Chandamama Kathalu' had won answered those who had trashed the movie, Praveen has let the makers of slick actioners dream big with 'GV'.
