Months after the release of 'PSV Garuda Vega', Sattaru resolved to do an action thriller with Ram Pothineni as the hero. And we all hoped to see a much better film than his previous outing. Sravanthi Movies, however, recently decided to shelve the project over budget issues. The director didn't want to budge on the quality aspect at any cost.

That Sattaru has given a big-ticket project a miss because he didn't want to compromise on output shows that he is one of those committed directors in the industry who abides by quality. With his vision, he made Rajasekhar's comeback film a technically and visually awesome movie.

Pushing the envelope is what you get when the likes of Praveen Sattaru are around. As someone who believes the script is the most paramount thing, the director has also consistently proved that good writing should precede visual extravaganza.

He seeks to make subjects as different as those surrounding the Army and the biopic of Pullela Gopichand. One hopes the best is yet to come from him!
