Last year, actor Pratik Gandhi teamed up with director Hansal Mehta on the show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' and it was a tremendous success. Pratik became and overnight star and Hansal Mehta also experienced rise in his popularity. Pratik is now being offered several interesting projects and the latest buzz suggests that he's going to reunite with Hansal Mehta for his next film.

Mehta is going to bankroll Pratik's next film alongwith Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. Pratik will be paired opposite new comer Khushali Kumar. Not much has been revealed but the film will be a family drama set in the backdrop of rural Uttar Pradesh. Project will be directed by Pulkit, who is known for his Rajkummar Rao starrer show 'Bose: Dead or Alive'.

Talking about the project, Bhushan Kumar said, "The story of this film is simple yet very real. This is the film that millions of people of our country will resonate with. I am glad Shaailesh, Hansal Mehta and I are again collaborating on such an interesting subject."

Khushali is currently working on her debut film with R Madhavan and Aparshakti Khurrana. She already started prepping for this film by getting over with the look tests.
