Fawad Khan is talented actor who has proved his worth in several Bollywood films. However, he could not work in the industry anymore due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. He was set to star alongside Katrina Kaif is an Aditya Dhar film but the latest buzz suggests that he has been replaced by 'Scam 1992' star Pratik Gandhi.

A lot has changed as the project is getting back on the track. Ronnie Screwvala has replaced Karan Johar as the producer while the female lead will be played by Yami Gautam instead of Katrina Kaif. The film will most likely be a romantic comedy.

Pratik Gandhi shot to fame after the tremendous success of 'Scam 1992' and he has become a bankable star now. So this was wise on the part of casting director to cast him in the picture. However, Pratik is not an overnight star. He has worked hard for years in Gujarati cinema and theatre before finally getting a chance on.a big platform. He talked about his journey during a recent interview. He said, "When I came to Bombay in 2004, I had an engineering degree in my hand and some sort of theatre experience from my hometown, and I thought I will be making it big soon, but it took almost 16 years to reach this place."
