Pratik Gandhi is grateful to be a part of mainstream cinema

The phenomenal success of Hansal Mehta's web show 'Scam 1992' changed everything for actor Pratik Gandhi. Owing to his remarkable performance as stockbroker Harshad Mehta, Pratik became a household name and filmmakers began to approach him with new and exciting projects. Needless to say, Pratik is very grateful for the way audience and industry have accepted and appreciated him.
According to a recent report in ETimes, the actor stated, “I am overwhelmed with the way the audience appreciated me and filmmakers have welcomed me into the industry. It is a dream for an actor to begin in mainstream Bollywood like this. I am excited to create new characters in all the exciting projects that are coming up. I truly believe that each project is like a new beginning. As an actor, it gives me sleepless nights. I have experienced this while doing stage shows, too.
However, Pratik doesn't feel that he has made it big yet. He states, I don’t know if I feel like I have “arrived” yet, but I am getting a chance to work with so many fine actors and directors, and at the same time, I am aware that I have to prove myself in every project. Having said that, one thing is for sure, there is space in mainstream Bollywood for an actor like me, and that gives me some sort of satisfaction, security and confidence as well.”
