The release of the intense teaser for the film Prathinidhi 2, marking Nara Rohith's return to the silver screen and journalist Murthy Devagupthapu's directorial debut, created a buzz among audiences. The anticipation grew further with the recent launch of the film's theatrical trailer, unveiled by renowned director Sukumar.

The trailer sets the tone with Nara Rohith's journalist character posing a thought-provoking question about the number of deaths due to cardiac arrest after Mahatma Gandhi's assassination in 1948. Fast forward to the present, the state is in turmoil with violent protests following the demise of a chief minister. Amidst this chaos, the protagonist challenges a man in the hospital who attempted suicide, questioning the importance of a politician over one's own family. Despite the ruling party's efforts with welfare schemes, doubts loom over their victory in the upcoming elections. Meanwhile, the police suspect the protagonist's motives as he broadcasts news exclusively on a channel. Who is he? What is his agenda? Why does he caution voters about the upcoming elections?

Murthy Devagupthapu's script boldly tackles the issues of dishonesty and corruption in the political system. The trailer provides a glimpse into the movie's premise without revealing the true nature of the protagonist. Nara Rohith delivers a compelling performance, supported by Sree Leela as the leading lady. The film also features Sachin Khedekar, Dinesh Tej, Raghu Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Udaya Bhanu, Ajay Gosh, and Shree in significant roles.
