Director Anbu has taken to glamour and has interlaced it with a revenge theme in Prathi Gnayiru 9.30 Muthal 10.30 Varai. It is a story of a woman gang raped by four friends and she sets out to take revenge on them.

Anbu, a former associate of director Bharathirajaa, has blended the main and the sub-plots, with double entendres in between, which is taken care of by Vennira Aadai Murthy, Karunaas and Balaji.

Ramesh, who played the second hero in Kadhalum Katru Mara, has played the lead role.

Poornitha, hitherto known as Kalyani, playing the victim of a gang rape excels in her role. Post interval, she plays an angry woman on a mission. She has got her emotions right and shows a lot of promise. It's a routine outing for Karunaas, Vennira Aadai Murthy and others.

The movie is about four college students Ramesh (Ramesh), Remo (Karunaas), Murugan (Balaji) and Seetharaman (Ravi), who are carefree and have no responsibilities in their life. Mistaking Kalyani (Poornitha) to be a call girl, they forcibly gang rape her on a holiday.

Coming to know of their mistake, they hurriedly return to Chennai. Ramesh is married off to a distant relative by his father (Delhi Ganesh). Only after the wedding, he comes to know that his wife resembles Kalyani.

This sends a chill down the spines of Ramesh's friends. A sequence of events lead to Kalyani taking revenge on the friends.

Whether they realized their mistake and were they taken to task forms the rest of the storyline.

Anbu has taken a serious theme and has laced it with glamour which sometimes takes the focus away from the movie. Nevertheless, the performance of the artistes call for appreciation and the director is to be lauded for the same.
