Deva Katta's much-awaited Prasthanam is releasing in January, though it was earlier planned for a December release. Starring Sarvanand, Sai Kumar and Ruby Parihar, the film is set in Vijayawada. The audio of the film released recently by Lok Satta's Jayaprakash Narayan, is getting good response as per the producers.

Mahesh Shankar, who also composed the music for Dev Katta's previous film Vennela, has lent the music here too. The makers are calling the film to be universal in that the elements touched upon in it will be liked by the audience.

Though a love and family entertainer, the film has, nevertheless, got a political touch. Whether Sarvanand is going to be another 'Leader' is to be watched on the big screen.

Dev is sure that the encounters between Sarvanand and Sai Kumar will be quite interesting. If the film registers a BO hit, not only Sarvanand, but the talented Katta will have got a well-deserving success.
