The director of moderate hit ‘Love Guru’, Prashanth briefing the media on his second film ‘Gana Bajana’ at KSCA P2 Hall on Monday afternoon yelled at the system of cinema exhibition that has put down possibilities of more profit for his debut film.

“I have taken oath in my life not to direct remake films in my career. I would leave this field instead of taking up a remake film. For such a thought and focused person there was no encouragement when my film ‘Love Guru’ was released”, said Prashanth.

There was no encouragement for well made original script film. The film ‘Love Guru’ successfully ran for 50 days in Sagar theatre Bangalore. ‘Love Guru’ dubbed version in Malayalam was well received in Telugu and Tamil it was dubbed and screened in television. “But in Karnataka I had got the right support. The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce did not back me. I realized making a film is easier than marketing the film”, reveals Prashanth. Prashanth for his second venture has tied up with Meera D Silva.
