The Nadigar Sangam elections to be held on June 23rd has two strong teams pitted against each other. On one side is the incumbent Pandavar Ani of Vishal, Nasser, Karthi, Karunaas and Poochi Murugan while on the other side it is the newly named Swami Sankaradas Ani headed by K.Bhagyaraj (President), Isari Ganesh (Secretary), Kutty Padmini and Udaya (Vice Presidents).

The opposition team had so far withheld the name of the person contesting for the important Treasurer post which has now been revealed as Prashanth. The team filed their nominations today and later on the press meet stated that it is with the blessings of Rajini and Kamal that Bhagyaraj is heading the team and since there is a split in the Pandavar Ani they will not be able to do justice to the union. It has been promised that the Nadigar Sangam building will be completed within six to seven months if they are voted to power.
