It was announced recently that actor Prashanth is playing the lead in the Tamil remake of 2018 Bollywood superhit movie Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana and after witnessing two director changes, the movie began shooting recently.

Andhagan is directed by Thiagarajan, Prashanth's father and also stars Simran, Karthik, KS Ravikumar, Poovaiyar, Semmalar, Yogi Babu, Urvashi and many others and is produced by Thiagarajan's Staar movies.

The latest official update is that this movie will have Priya Anand playing Prashanth's pair in the movie, reprising the role played by Radhika Apte in the original. A still from Andhagan featuring Priya Anand and Prashanth has turned viral now.
