Prashanth to bounce back with a super hit Bollywood remake

Actor Prashanth is expected to make a grand comeback with 'Saahasam' produced on a mega scale by his father Thiyagarajan. The film directed by debutante Arun Raj Varma, is expected to hit the screens soon.

After 'Saahasam', Prashanth will be acting in the lead role in 'Irupathiyaaru 26'. This is the Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit heist thriller 'Special 26', Prashanth will be reprising the lead role played by Akshay Kumar.in Hindi.

Actor, director and producer Thiyagarajan has acquired the South Indian (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada) remake rights of 'Special 26'. The Tamil remake is going to start soon and it will be made on a huge budget.

The Tamil remake will have an ensemble supporting cast that includes veterans Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Nasser, Thambi Ramiah, Robot Shankar, Devadarshini and other. A leading heroine of Kollywood is all set to play the lead lady opposite Prashanth in this flick. Kajal Aggarwal had played the heroine role in Hindi version. Simran and Devayani will be acting in special cameo roles.

The shooting has been planned in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.

The hottest music sensation Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring music for the film. Don Max has been roped in for Editing.

Apart from production, Thiyagarajan has written the screenplay and dialogues for the Tamil version.

'Irupathiyaaru 26' will be launched very soon and plans are afoot to release the film in April 2015.
