Actor Prashanth, who had last acted in the heist drama Johny, which was the remake of Hindi hit Johnny Gaddar, is next set to return with the official Tamil remake of the Hindi superhit movie Andhadhun, and this remake is produced by his father, actor Thyagarajan.

Andhadhun was directed by Sriram Raghavan, and it was officially announced before few weeks that the Tamil remake will be directed by Mohan Raja. While there are reports making rounds that Ramya Krishnan will play the role played by Tabu, here's an update on the heroine of the movie.

Speculations are making the rounds that Miss India Tamil Nadu Anukreethy Vas who was supposed to pair with Prashanth in a movie directed by Venkatesh will be signed to play the role played by Radhika Apte in Andhadhun, in its Tamil remake. An official clarification on the speculation is expected soon.
