Actor Prashanth is likely to achieve the honor of being the first actor to shoot inside the Chennai Metro Train station for his upcoming film Saahasam`.

It is said that the charges fixed by the Tamil Nadu Government for conducting film shoots inside the lush stations are runs up to lakhs and that`s why the filmmakers and producers are hesitating to explore the location.

However producer Thiyagarajan the father of Prashanth who is known for lavish spending for the films has reportedly sent a letter to the Metro Rail authorities, seeking permission to shoot some scenes of Sahasam` in the Chennai Metro Train stations without minding the exorbitant costs.

Saahasam` is already being billed as a costly film as all songs in the film scored by Thaman have been shot in foreign locales and the audio release is also expected to be held in Malaysia. Now the Metro Train element will add up to the lavishness of the film directed by Arun Raj Varma.
