Thalapathy Vijay is all set to venture into full-time politics after his 69th film. He will be leading his new party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, into the 2026 assembly elections. In the meantime, he will be transforming his Makkal Iyakkam into an efficient party with the addition of a lot of members.

Thalapathy Vijay was earlier reported to work with the renowned political strategist, Prashant Kishor, for TVK. Now, Prashant Kishor broke silence and revealed if he's working with the actor in politics. He said in a recent interview, "Vijay is not in touch with me. I am out of the business as a political strategist. If he asks me, I can give him advice but I cannot work as a full-time political strategist."

Prashant also added that Vijay's political entry shouldn't be taken lightly as it would reduce the vote bank of the Dravidian parties by 60 to 65%. On the other hand, TVK has started to add members to their party after abiding by the party's ideals. They are soon to launch a new mobile app to add members and the members to connect.
