Actor Prasanna, who began his career with the Susi Ganesan directed Five Star produced by Maniratnam, went on to act in numerous memorable movies like Anjathe, Kanda Naal Mudhal etc and has now completed 18 years in film industry.

The actor has now penned a heartfelt note after the many stars from the film industry wished him with a hashtag #18YearsofPrasanna on completing 18 years in films. Prasanna's note read “18 years went like a blink. Life has taught a lot in these years. Good and bad! Failures have made me stronger. Understood success is not ultimate. Made friends. Learnt to forgive and move on. Learnt to say sorry. Realised my egos. Today after 18 years, I stand in front of you with folded hands thanking you all fans, friends in the industry, colleagues, print, visual and all kind of ever growing media, my family, my soulmate-my wife, well wishers and the super power above all of us, God!”

Prasanna further thanked his wife, actress Sneha, who had planned the surprise video. “A special thanks to my wife Sneha for taking so much efforts to make this day so special and surprise me by.
