A film on the Kannada language and Kannada school - the hotly discussed topic because a few of the Kannada school are closed off late 'Prarthane' by senior journalist turned director Sadashiva Shenoy premiere was held at Renukamba Digital theatre recently.

Dr Chandrasekhar Kambara was felicitated after the film screening in the presence of national award winning singer Shimoga Subbanna, poet NS Lakshminarayana Bhatta, Lahari Velu and others.

The film 'Prarthane' holds a mirror to the status of Kannada schools. There are many valuable points to be understood stated the Jnanapeeth award winner Dr Kambara. The objective of the director Sadashiva Shenoy is admirable stated poet Lakshminarayana Bhatta. The government of Karnataka should take note of this film felt the poet.

Lyricist K Kalyan complimented Sadashiva Shenoy and producer Harish for picking the minute issues and presenting it with effective screenplay.

The poor government schools all over Karnataka are at the intensive care unit. They have to be spruced up stated Sadashiva Shenoy debutant director of the film.
