'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' and 'Attarintiki Daredi' actress Pranitha Subhash has tied the knot with Nitin Raju, a businessman from Karnataka. The wedding was a low-key affair.

The wedding took place in a close-knit manner on Sunday. Nobody knew about the ceremony until wedding pics emerged today.

The newly-wed couple today issued a statement, saying that they are extremely sorry to not have informed the world about the finalized date up until today. "We didn't want to put you through with the prolonged ambiguity about our wedding dates. Please accept our sincere apologies as we would have liked nothing more than for our loved ones to be a part of our special day," they added.

Pranitha debuted in Kannada in 2010. She acted in Telugu films such as 'Baava', 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda', 'Brahmotsavam', 'Rabhasa', 'Dynamite', and 'NTR: Kathanayakudu'.

The actress has also been sponsoring charity activities. Pranitha Foundation recently collaborated with two NGOs to supply oxygen concentrators to the needy.
