Pranitha Subhash is one of the thinking actresses out there. Speaking at the conclave of a media organization, she has called out two controversies that reflect the blatant misogyny in our society. They pertain to a Mahesh Babu film and 'Baahubali-The Beginning'.

Ahead of the release of '1: Nenokkadine', there came a poster in which Kirti Sanon is seen crawling behind Mahesh Babu. Samantha described it as regressive without taking the film's name. But the superstar's fans got the hint and trolled her. Indirectly referring to this episode, Pranitha says, "Even though that actress did not name the film, fans of the actor trended #WeHateXYZ."

She also speaks critically of the episode in 'Baahubali-The Beginning', where Prabhas' character forcibly undresses Avantika (Tamannah). The 'Brahmotsavam' actress is sorry that 80 pc of the audience didn't even find it objectionable.
