Pranav Mohanlal's 'Hridayam' starts rolling

The shoot of Vineeth Sreenivasan’s next directorial 'Hridayam', starring Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, has gone on floors in Palakkad on Monday. Pranav has joined the sets and was spotted shooting at Kollengode railway station, Palakkad. A picture from the location has also surfaced online.
Touted to be a family entertainer, Pranav is said to be playing the role of boy-next-door and the movie 'Hridayam' revolves around the journey of Pranav's character from the age of 17 to the early 30s. Reports are also rife that the movie will be a sequel to Chithram, one of the most celebrated films of Mohanlal.
Kalyani Priyadarshan is paired opposite Pranav. Darshana Rajendran, known for her performances in 'Mayaanadi', 'Vijay Superum Pournamiyum' and 'Virus', is playing an important role in the movie. Recently, Vineeth Sreenivasan had visited Istanbul to record live instruments for the film. Vineeth Sreenivasan has roped in Abdul Wahab for the music of 'Hridayam'. A few days ago, it was revealed that Prithviraj Sukumaran has sung a special track for it.
Vineeth who last directed 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam' starring Nivin Pauly, has scripted the upcoming movie as well. The movie marks the return of Merryland Cinemas to production after nearly three decades. The makers have scheduled the movie for Onam 2020.
