While audiences are eagerly waiting for Pranav Mohanlal's debut in lead role with the upcoming Jeethu Joseph movie, there are speculations doing the rounds about the actor's remuneration. According to reports, Pranav has set a new trend, by quoting a record remuneration for his debut film.

According to the sources close to the project, Pranav Mohanlal has charged just one rupee for the movie as he doesn't consider cinema as a source of income and also as a mark of respect for his father, who is the producer of the movie.

The movie which is on the lines of Jeethu Joseph`s superhit movie Memories will be majorly shot outside Kerala. Jeethu is currently in the final stages on scripting and will soon enter the pre- production. Meanwhile, Pranav is currently prepping up for the role by getting trained for Parkour for the film.The yet-to-be titled film will start rolling by the second half of the year.

Pranav who shares a personal relationship with Jeethu, had earlier worked with the director as his assistant for the Tamil film Papanasham, which had Kamal Hassan in the lead and then in Life of Josutty, starring Dileep in the lead. As Pranav already has a huge fan base in Kerala even before becoming a hero, expectations from the movie are sky high!
