KA Paul has submitted his invaluable opinion on former President Pranab Mukherjee getting the Bharat Ratna. Speaking to a news channel, the deluded, self-proclaimed legend condemned the decision of the Modi government to confer the highest civilian honour on Pranab.

"It's a black day that Pranab Mukherjee has got Bharat Ratna. Years ago, I had filed a case against him at the Federal Court in Washington DC. When he was the External Affairs Minister, he almost sold out the country. He succumbed to American pressure in cancelling a summit. In 2016, I met him when he was the President of India. I am not opposing Pranab for any personal reason. He never cancelled my peace mission. Balayogi garu should have got the Bharat Ratna," he said, adding that the BJP has given Bharat Ratna to him only because he is a Brahmin.
