The recently released Devi` becoming a hit has given a big boost to director Vijay who has already completed a schedule for his next film starring Jayam Ravi as the hero.

Jayam Ravi plays a tribal in this new film, which could be titled Kumari Kandam` and his leading lady is veteran Bollywood Superstar Dilip Kumar`s grand niece Saayyeshaa. Prakash Raj has been roped in to play a pivotal role of a powerful industrialist. Sanjay Bharathi, Varun, Thambi Ramaiah and Sam Paul are in the cast while Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music and Thirru handling the camera.
