When everyone was hoping that Prakash Raj is set to make his presence felt in Mollywood, his only unexplored territory in the south so far, as the actor signed a Malayalam movie recently, things are actually going on the opposite side.

The versatile actor, who is a popular director and producer too, has walked out of the Malayalam film, titled 'Spirit'. The reason is- he could allot dates demanded by director Renjith as he had to honor other commitments too.

Says Prakash Raj, "Shooting schedules of many of my movies got disturbed due to the strike. Now that things are fine, projects are getting re-started. I have to give equal importance to all of them and can't allot all my dates to one particular film."

He adds: "I thought it would be unfair on my part if the shootings of my movies are further delayed, this time because of me. So I opted out of Spirit." Meanwhile, it is expected that the actor would announce his next directorial venture soon.
