It's known that there has been a brewing tussle between Prakash Raj and VK Naresh. Last month, when Prakash Raj formed a panel ahead of the elections to the Movie Artists Association, Naresh commented that there was no need for such a panel when elections are due only in September. He also said, in another context, that Prakash Raj doesn't even know many things about the MAA.
The other day, Prakash Raj took to Twitter and asked when the MAA elections would be held. It was more a hint that he wants the world to think that there is no transparency about election dates.
Naresh once again hit back at the versatile actor. On Twitter, he said that it was decided by the MAA in a democratic manner that the elections have to be held in September in view of the Covid situation. He likened Prakash Raj asking when are the elections to someone wanting to hastily plunge into the swimming pool even before it is filled with water. "If you want to do it, then please go ahead," Naresh wrote, without mentioning Prakash Raj's name.
Vishnu Manchu, Hema and Jeevitha Rajasekhar are also in the presidential race this time.
