Soon after the premiere of ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ his maiden film as director in Kannada, national award winning actor Prakash Raj announced his wedding would be on June 24th this year with Pony Verma, a choreographer from Bollywood.

‘Nannu Kanna Kanasu’ is a remake of Radha Mohan’s ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ for which Prakash Raj was the producer for his Duet Movies. The movie was dubbed in Telugu as ‘Akasamantha’.

Prakash Raj had a divorce settlement with Lalitha Kumari with whom he has two daughters. The venue of the wedding is yet to be confirmed, sources say.

Pony Verma is an ace choreographer in Mumbai and worked in many big production houses. Pony Verma made her debut in ‘Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar’ in Bollywood and later worked in films like Nayee Padosan, Hungama, Hulchul, Bhool Bhulaiyya, Chandini Chowk, De Dana Dan. Though Pony is her nick name, her real name is Rashmi Verma. In the south, she is addressed as Boney Master.
