Yet another talent in Prakash Raj the national award winning actor is surfacing. Prakash Raj is directing Kannada film ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasoo…’ that is his Tamil film ‘Abhiyum Naanum’. It is ‘Akasham Antha’ in Telugu language. He is producing the film in ‘Duet Films’ with partnership of Media House Studio headed by his best friend B. Suresh a prominent writer and director in small and big screen. For the Kannada version Prakash Raj is making many changes. He has set the film in the backdrop of Coorg culture and tradition. Hamsalekha scores the music and Ananth Urs is the cameraman. Arun Sagar is the art director.

“I was thinking from which language to start direction all these years and the answer is that I am directing from the Kannada film” that is titled as ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasoo’ (apparently Kanasoo happens to be his daughter name of Prakash Raj). I am playing the role of a father what I have done in original Tamil film. Popular actress Ramya is my daughter disclosed Prakash Raj after the screening of the Swarna Kamal winning Tamil film ‘Kancheevaram’ to film media and his Kannada industry friends on last Saturday at GM Rejoyz auditorium in Malleswaram Bangalore.

‘It is my love letter to my daughter’ – after the birth of the child the growth of the father is focused in this film that start shooting in November end or early December stated Prakash Raj. ‘I am remaking my own subject’ is the answer he passed on to the remake biters.

The two strong opponents to remake films national award winning music director Hamsalekha and B Suresh the two big names have changed their mind and indulging in this remake film. I really felt ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ film should be made available to Kannada speaking people said B Suresh while Hamsalekha pointed that enormous changes have been made to the Tamil film made me to accept.
