As the elections for Nadigar Sangam is going to be held on October 18 both the sides are finalising their list of candidates. The incumbent office bearers of the Nadigar Sangam lead by President R.Sarathkumar will see a tough completion from the rebel group of actors` Pandavar Ani` spearheaded by actor Vishal.

While both the sides have been meeting prominent actors ahead of the election some of the notable faces have voiced their open support to either of the sides. While young actors Silambarasan. Shaam and others have joined Sarathkumar;s side some senior actors have voiced their support for the Pandavar` ani mostly consisting of young actors.

Actor Suresh who was one of the leading heroes in 1980s came out in support of Vishal`s group. Now highly acclaimed actor Prakash Raj has also openly voiced his support for the team of rebel actors.

Prakash, who has clarified that though all the actors are his friends and he does not find fault with anyone he is supporting the Pandavar Ani as he sees them as the ambassadors of change and he felt that he should stand beside them to support the change.

Superstar Rajinikanth, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and senior actress Khushbu are rumored to have assured their support for the Pandavar Ani but none of them have made their support public.
