Prakash Raj signs up to do a unique film

‘Kabali’ producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has announced a film titled ’60 Vayadhu Maaniram’ (Tamil).  Written and directed by Radha Mohan, it will feature Prakash Raj, Vikram Prabhu, and Samuthirakani in leading roles.  Indhuja, Kumaravel, Sharath, Madhumitha, Mohanram, Arul Jothi and Bharath Ram are part of the cast.

This is one more film with unique sensibilities that Prakash Raj will be doing.  This one is a remake of the Kannada movie ‘Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu’.  

“The film revolves around Venkob Rao, a middle-aged man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.  He goes missing.  His son Shiva who is worried by his father’s disappearance and embarks on a search with a female doctor. Venkob Rao gets entangled with a killer who has committed a murder. The rest of the film is about whether Shiva finds his father or not,” says a Wiki post about the Kannada original.  

Maestro Ilayaraja has been roped in to compose music.  Cinematography is by Vivek Anand, art direction by Kathir and editing is by Jai.
