At a time when wage-earners are losing their livelihoods because of the COVID-induced lockdowns, Prakash Raj has stood as an example for all employers out there. The versatile actor has paid the wages of his staff members in advance so that they don't have to suffer hardships for want of work.
"On the day of Janata Curfew, I looked into my reserve funds and paid advance salaries to empower my farmhouse staff, film production staff, personal staff and others for the month of May. I have also finalized a way to give at least half of salaries to the daily-wage workers of my three films stopped due to social distancing. I am not done yet. Will continue to do more with what I can afford," the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Venky Mama' actor said.
"I request each one of you who can afford to help the needy around you. It's time to give back. It's time to stand by one another," he added.
Prakash Raj is playing the lead man in Krishna Vamsi's 'Ranga Maarthaanda'.
