Prakash Raj saved a senior actor from suicide

Prakash Raj is one of the most respected character artistes in Indian cinema who is always airdashing from one state to another to fulfil his professional commitments. The National Award winner is now also very active in Karnataka politics and is a strong critic of the ruling national party BJP and its leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Veteran Telugu actor Raja Ravindra in a recent interview has revealed that a few years back a senior Tollywood actor unable to repay a loan of fifty lakhs tried to commit suicide. Hearing about it Prakash Raj had asked Raja Ravindra to bring that actor to him and he not only counseled him against suicide but also took on the loan himself and paid it to the debtor. Ravindra, however, did not reveal the name of the actor but praised Prakash Raj for his humanitarian gesture that saved a life.

Prakash Raj is currently playing an important role in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures costarring Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena and Khushbu.
