Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu has crossed 100 crores at the worldwide box office and is still running successfully in cinemas. The latest reports also stated that the demand for tickets for this movie during the Pongal season was very high.

As the movie has come out as a real winner of the Pongal season, an interesting detail about a deleted scene has reached us. According to reports, Vamshi, the director of this film has revealed that a heart-touching scene has been removed from the film during the final cut.

The director said, "A flashback scene for Sarath Kumar and Prakash Raj showing about their childhood friendship was shot & at last in the film after Vijay’s speech Prakash raj will meet Sarathkumar and seek forgiveness. it was one beautiful scene in the film."

But unfortunately, the scene was cut keeping the time duration of the film in mind. Earlier it was also revealed that the apportion starring Kushboo was also chopped from the film. Kushboo played the role of Rashmika's mother in the movie.
