Prakash Raj plays Prabakaran

Now, this has got to be news that will give the Eelam a new twist. Actor Prakash Raj, who is known for portrayal for different roles in a career that spans Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, apart from Bollywood, has established himself as a bankable character artiste. The actor has now revealed that he will soon be playing LTTE chief in a film!

Speaking about it at a cultural function held in Karnataka, the actor has said that he has received an offer to play the role of Prabakaran in a film. Given that he liked the role, the actor is said to have agreed to it and is working on the mannerisms of Prabakaran to play his character.

While Prakash Raj revealed that he has been approached to do the role, it is not clear about who approached him or who is producing the film. Prakash Raj is currently working on Thankar Bachchan’s 'Kalavadiya Pozhudhugal', apart from acting in Vijay’s 'Vettaikkaran' and Suriya’s 'Singam'.
