'Manavoori Ramayanam', which hit the screens on Oct 7, is directed by Prakash Raj, which also stars him with Priyamani, Sathyadev and Prudhvi in the main. Although a message-oriented, sensible drama, the film hasn't been getting the attention it deserves. That's what Prakash Raj is saying.

In an appeal posted on his social media page, the National Award winner has urged the audience to watch the movie with friends and family. "Some people had told me that 'Manavoori Ramayanam' won't work because it has no "matter" and "item". I argued with them that the audience will watch my film. But looking at the collections over the last two days, they seem to be winning. If you watch movies like this, filmmakers will be encouraged. Those who want to earn by making the right kind of movies are getting demoralized. It's in your hands to encourage such filmmakers," Prakash Raj said in the video.
