Prakash Raj joins Mohanlal's Odiyan

As reported earlier, the shoot of Mohanlal’s Odiyan directed by VA Shrikumar Menon is progressing at a brisk pace. Recently, Kollywood actor Prakash Raj has joined the team in Palakkad.
Prakash Raj took to his Twitter page to share the news. "In palakkad for the film #Odiyan..with the legend #mohanlal n #manjuwarrier directed by #vashrikumar...20 years after #iruvar with lalettan (sic)," he posted.
Meanwhile, the movie's director Shrikumar too shared his excitement working with the legendary actor. "Legendary actor prakash raj joined the team odiyan today. What an experience it was to direct him and watch him perform. Odiyan tempo rises," Shrikumar tweeted.
In the movie, Mohanlal plays the last surviving member of a tribal community called Odiyan in Kerala. Mohanlal will be seen in the role of Manikyan, a man who is mastered in Odividya and will be featured in the age of 30 to 65 in multiple looks.
'Odiyan' will have Manju Warrier in the female lead along with Prakash Raj and Sathyaraj essaying important roles. While art director Prasanth Madhav will also be recreating Thenkurissi village for the shooting, renowned fight-master Peter Hein will be choreographing the action sequences.
