"Start Camera..Action... BACK TO WORK," an excited Prakash Raj said on Twitter as he begins shooting for 'KGF-2'. The epic action-drama, starring Yash in the lead, has gone on the floors more than five months after its shoot was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor is playing an interesting character in the film. Director Prashanth Neel has also got Malavika Avinash, actress and BJP spokesperson, on board. "After 6 full months...the COVID break is broken...Shooting today! Feels like a rebirth! Guess which film???!!! (sic)," she tweeted today, posting a pic of her with Yash.

"Welcome on board @prakashraaj, sir. We resume shooting finally for #KGFCHAPTER2. Thank you, everyone, for all the love and excitement towards the movie. Wish us all the luck (sic)," a happy Neel, who will be directing a movie with Jr NTR, tweeted.

Starring also Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Rao Ramesh, the film will hit the screens in 2021.
