In 2019, Prakash Raj was accused of comparing Ram Leela to child porn. In a statement, the versatile actor happened to say that Ram Leela fests are dangerous for India.
Ahead of the MAA polls, actor Vishnu Manchu has referred to the controversial remarks. "I am not angry that Prakash Raj has criticized me. When he couldn't spare Lord Ram, who am I? I am an ordinary mortal. I am not being communal. My wife is a Christian. My brother-in-law is not from our caste. Our family is not at all caste-conscious," Manchu said.
