Prakash Raj was trounced by Manchu Vishnu in the MAA elections on Sunday. Soon after, he decided to tender his resignation to the primary membership of MAA, saying that he doesn't want to be a part of the Association that has rejected his bid for leadership because he is a non-Telugu. On his part, Manchu Vishnu has publicly stated that he is unhappy with Prakash Raj's decision to quit MAA.

Hours after the new MAA President made his personal chat with Prakash Raj public, the latter took to social media and hinted that his fight for the welfare of MAA members will continue. "Hi my dear MAA members who stood by us .. There is a deeper meaning behind my resignation to MAA," the 'Vakeel Saab' actor began saying.

He further added, "We as a team know we are responsible towards the love and support you all have extended to us. We will NEVER let you all down ..will explain very soon. you will be proud of us."

It has to be seen if the versatile actor will hold a presser or two in the coming days. Post the elections, the one other member who has quit MAA is Naga Babu, a big supporter of Prakash Raj.
