Prakash Raj feels proud to be a producer

The actor cum producer Prakash Raj feels proud to be a producer. He rates his identity as a producer higher than the respect received as an actor.

The proud producer of recently released ‘Vellithirai’ met the media persons along with director Viji and costars Prithviraj and M.S. Bhaskar at Hotel Green Park in Chennai, yesterday (March 13). The team responded to the queries of the scribes regarding ‘Vellithirai’.

Prakash informed that he brushed aside the warnings that people would not understand the film made on film industry. “It is not necessary that the audiences must be scientists to view a film made on scientists”, said the versatile actor in a lighter vein. He expressed confidence that people would receive new things if they are effectively told.

Is he satisfied being a producer? “Success is not everything. It is important that you have created at least 100 persons in the industry”, said the producer.
