Actor Prakash Raj has been come to be known as a strong and bold person who never shies away from criticizing the Union Government and also the politicians who fail the people. The multi-lingual has now raised his voice against an imminent ban on Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ in the state of Karnataka.
Theatre associations of Karnataka have announced that the film will not be released in the state as Rajinikanth has said Karnataka Government should release the Cauvery water for Tamil Nadu as directed by the Supreme Court.
Now Prakash Raj has questioned the ruling JDS-Congress Government in this regard. He has asked why a film should be targeted for political issues. He has also asked why the JDS-Cong Government is letting fringe elements dictate terms like the BJP ruled states did during the ‘Padmavat’ issue.
