Prakash Raj criticises Sarathkumar's statement

Veteran actor Prakash Raj last week tendered vocal support for 'Pandavar Ani', the rebel group that includes actors Vishal, Karthi, Nasser, Karunas and Ponvannan who would be contesting the Nadigar Sangam elections scheduled on October 18 posing tough opposition to the incumbent office bearers.
Now he has done something more to support the side than mere expressing vocal solidarity. He took part in Pandavar Ani's meeting with Theater actors in Salem ahead of elections. In that meeting, the multi-lingual actor requested the t President of the Sangam, R.Sarathkumar to exercise restraint in his speech and not talk irresponsibly.
Referring to Sarathkumar's statement that unity cannot prevail in the sangam even after the elections,Prakash Raj said such statements that threaten the opposition do not augur well for the sangam's President and reiterated that actors can not sustain without unity among themselves.
The National award winning actor further said that every member has the right to question about the functioning of the sangam and the youngsters have started raising questions after these many years which means there was something that needs to be questioned.
Prakash Raj ended his speech saying that he will be the first person to raise his voice if any wrong happens in the sangam and he is not seeking any opportunity to get any post in the sangam. Stating that the upcoming elections will bring a change and everyone should join together to bring about the change.
