Prakash Raj has acted in and directed a new Kannada film titled Idolle Ramayana` which is releasing this Friday the 7th of October. A Kannada TV channel was interviewing Prakash Raj about the film and the anchor unnecessarily brought the Kaveri issue and questioned him about whether the Kannada people or Tamil people are most affected.

Prakash Raj was highly provoked by the question and he angrily replied that the Kaveri issue is a highly sensitive issue that needs to be looked at very deeply by the politicians and he as an actor will not comment about it irresponsibly. The multi-talented character artiste advised the anchor and the producer not to ask these questions to an actor who has come to talk about his film. Prakash Raj then pulled off the mike from his shirt and walked out of the interview asking the producers never to approach him again.
